Site Information

Deakin University supports this site, and this enables free access to the resources provided. Please,
however, note the following conditions of use:

1. All information on this site remains the property of Deakin University or the Authors of written materials
and data.

2. No part of this site, nor any of the information contained therein, is to be used for any commercial
purpose without the express permission of the University.

3. Researchers and students are free to search the site and copy whatever materials they require.
However, it is requested that due acknowledgment and citation be given should such materials be used
in a published work.

4. A number of documents on this site are also available as either printed documents or as floppy disks.
These are:

  • Comprehensive Quality of Life Scale - Adult (ComQol-A5)
  • Comprehensive Quality of Life Scale - Intellectual Disability (ComQol-I5)
  • Comprehensive Quality of Life Scale - Children or Adolescents 11-18 years, attending school
    (ComQol-S5)
  • Directory of Instruments to Measure Quality of Life and Cognate Areas
  • Any of the theses or data bases

Orders for any of the above should be directed to Bob Cummins <cummins@deakin.edu.au>. A cost
recovery fee of AUD$40.00 per item (plus 10% GST if in Australia or New Zealand) will normally be levied.
However, students who require such materials for some stated purpose, and who do not have access to
institutional funding for such materials, may receive them free of charge.

5. We would welcome your active participation in this site. This can be through:

  • Becoming a member of ACQOL. There is no charge for this and you will receive regular
    notices concerning new site developments.
  • Providing additional materials to be place on the site. This can include links to other
    sites, a thesis, data, a new instrument, etc.
  • Joining the discussion and information exchange provided by OzQol.
