There are many aspects of legal theory and practice in which the issues or aspects of "quality of life" are of importance.Compensation for victims of wrongful conduct takes into account the fact that those who suffer physical or psychiatric injury might thereby have been deprived of the "quality of life" that they had enjoyed before. This impacts on the law of compensation as well as legal and ethical aspects of medical management of patients, and stress in the workplace.
